Kraft: the Sequel
Last week I did a post on Keil Johnson and his cardboard wonder objects. Well, I found someone who does the same thing but, has better craftsmanship than Keil which, I think is a matter of taste. I mentioned to a friend that Keil's work reminds me of Tom Sachs work and what I absolutely love so much about Tom Sachs work is that it looks a little worn in and as if it were built for function only.
With that, here's the work of Chris Gilmour, cardboard extraordinaire.

Band together
From the LA times feature, 50, I've picked a few of my favorite cigar bands. I can't wait til summer to smoke a cigar in my courtyard with a glass of scotch. For you Minneapolians check out my favorite spot, Golden Leaf.

-Stop-
Last week I received a mysterious telegram from someone that made my day. It was this envelope with the contents of a telegram and photograph.
I thought I had an idea of who it was but, then my friend Vince let it slip that he was the mysterious Mr. William Taco Rhombus.
Here's the snazzy little site Vince sent it from.
