Kraft: the Sequel

Last week I did a post on Keil Johnson and his cardboard wonder objects. Well, I found someone who does the same thing but, has better craftsmanship than Keil which, I think is a matter of taste. I mentioned to a friend that Keil's work reminds me of Tom Sachs work and what I absolutely love so much about Tom Sachs work is that it looks a little worn in and as if it were built for function only.
With that, here's the work of Chris Gilmour, cardboard extraordinaire.

I used to have a hat sort of like this when I was a kid. It had been my grandpa Rudy's hat, terribly Germanic looking. I'm not sure what happened to it, I hope it's somewhere in storage. I'd gladly take this one for now.
